Estella's Brilliant Bus Awarded $200,000 Grant

The William R. Kenan Jr. Charitable Trust has awarded Estella’s Brilliant Bus $200,000 to implement its Full STEAM Ahead project. This project includes the following programs: Drone/Coding & Esports, Financial Literacy, Busy Body Tutoring & Homework Help and Underwater Robotics for underserved, underrepresented and under-resourced youth.
 
“We truly appreciate the opportunity this funding will provide Estella’s Brilliant Bus as we move forward with our award-winning program after the loss of our beloved founder, Estella Pyfrom. This award will create an effectual impact to inspire and empower students in STEAM education and future careers,” said Mia Pyfrom, Executive Director. 

Estella’s Brilliant Bus will continue to provide kids equity and inclusion in science, technology, engineering, art and mathematics while bridging the digital technology divide one child at a time thanks to the William R. Kenan, Jr. Charitable Trust.
