comcastlogo2As a partner, we are please to identify eligible families who do not have internet service at home. Many of our parents as well as many of the students that we sere do not have home internet. As a partner, who offers web-base activities, we have found the partnership very valuable. We can assist the applicants by giving them access to the internet via our high tech mobile lab or by giving out Comcast brochures to the families. This is another free service to the families who qualify for the service.

pbscpic3Recommendation Letter for Estella’s Brilliant Bus

This letter is to attest that the Small Business Development Center at Palm Beach State College / Boca Raton campus is an ongoing, collaborative partner with Estella Pyfrom, CEO of “Estella’s Brilliant Bus.” We plan to be so in the future.

Ms. Pyfrom and I have met at least a dozen times since August and also frequently communicate by phone and e-mail. We work together on these goals:

1.) Spread the word about the Brilliant Bus so the people who need it most will avail themselves of its services.
2.) Publicize the Brilliant Bus to potential funders and other stakeholders about its wonderful track record of education, mentoring and advocacy in low income areas.
3.) Attract donations from a global audience.

In addition, we are coordinating sophisticated and modern methods of marketing, including creating a more up-to-date, accurate and consistent “brand” for the Brilliant Bus. We’ve also spent a great deal of time establishing an online presence for this nonprofit, including a strong emphasis on search engine optimization and social media.

In addition, we have partnered at special events, such as a joint presentation we did at the Belle Glade campus of Palm Beach State College a few weeks ago. We are also working with traditional media (print and broadcast) in promulgating the mission of the Brilliant Bus and look forward to continuing this productive partnership for some time to come.

I am very happy to provide any additional information.

Thank you for giving me this opportunity to praise Estella Pyfrom and the Brilliant Bus.

Sincerely,

Sharon Geltner
